This free standing kitchen pantry took about 3 hours build and matches my kitchen cabinets perfectly. You can also do this project if you re looking for a storage for your arts and crafts materials or other items. But if your home does not have a designated space for a walk in pantry then it is better to go for freestanding carts. Strangely my favorite part is the ikea pantry area looking at all those pantry cabinets and storage is so much fun to me nerd alert. Insert blue painted mailing tubes or pvc pipes on one shelf to create a spot for wine. I have always loved walking around ikea looking at the kitchen section. I mean literally hundreds.
